Hi all,

Unfortunately I will not be providing betting tips for WWE Money in the Bank this weekend.

I’ve just been too busy with work. I’ve recently launched BetSoccer.ca – Daily Soccer Betting Tips and with the World Cup going on, that’s taking up way too much of my time.

I’m behind on Observers, haven’t even listened to any podcasts lately and haven’t even watched the last RAW or Smackdown!

For the record I think Big Cass is a good price over Bryan.

Here are the betting odds for those curious:

WWE Money in the Bank Betting Odds:

  • Natalya (+140) vs Alexa Bliss (+290) vs Charlotte (+450) vs Sasha Banks (+570) vs Becky Lynch (+800) vs Lana (+1200) vs Ember Moon (+1200) vs Naomi (+3300)
  • The Miz (-155) vs Braun Strowman (+350) vs Samoa Joe (+400) vs Kevin Owens (+450) vs Finn Balor (+725) vs Rusev (+725) vs Bobby Roode (+2500)
  • Shinsuke Nakamura (-140) vs AJ Styles (+100)

Election

WWE Pay-Per-View is live next Sunday (June 17) from the Windy City of Chicago at the Allstate Arena, and this PPV event could be eye-popping. On Sunday night in Chicago we have another WWE cross-over PPV, and we will see not one but two Money in the Bank Ladder matches and we also get to see Ronda Rousey perform in her first one-on-one match. We'll see some outstanding matches in Chicago, and I'm hoping we see more head-scratching upsets like we saw in New Orleans at WrestleMania. At WrestleMania we saw five plus-money underdogs win, including Brock Lesnar, who opened a 6-1 underdog against Roman Reigns to retain his RAW Universal Championship.

Here at Doc's Sports, I handicap and provide entertainment/pop-culture odds for events such as MITB, and MyBookie has decided to post odds for next Sunday's MITB event. I highly recommend betting them early because these betting numbers move quickly because of low limits.

My WWE betting predictions have been profitable, and at Royal Rumble and Survivor Series we have gone a perfect 10-0 and scored multiple plus-money winners. At WrestleMania we struggled as again underdogs were cashing left and right, but in the last 20 WWE PPVs I am 93-37 (72 percent), and if you are going to place some action on the MITB card do it quickly. MITB should also set up some outstanding matches for the next couple of PPVs, and we could see some long storylines and probably more underdog winners.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

Asuka -180

Carmella +140
Taking a totally different approach in this Women's Championship match and I'm taking what I learned from WrestleMania. My gut is telling me that Asuke wins this match and becomes the new Smackdown Women's Champion, but in the back of my mind Carmella pulls another Hail Mary and retains the belt. It wouldn't shock me to see Asuka dominate this match but Carmella somehow retains by either DQ or count out. Asuka will be a champion sometime this year, and I can't believe I'm typing this right now, but I don't see her winning at MITB.

Prediction: Carmella +140

WWE RAW Singles Match

Bobby Lashley -400
Sami Zayn +260

I know I'm not the only person that believes the latest stint in the WWE with Bobby Lashley is a complete bust. So far Lashley has been quiet, and this feud with Sami Zayn has been awful. I feel bad for both Zayn and Lashley with this lifeless feud, but when the three-count is done Bobby Lashley will get the victory and we should see different storylines from both. I hope! I'm begging the 'Suits' in the back to please turn Lashley to a devastating heel.
Prediction: Bobby Lashley -400

WWE RAW Singles Match

Roman Reigns -800
Jinder Mahal +450
Surprisingly, the feud with Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal has been pretty good, and I know the reason why the 'Suits' in the back created this feud and it has actually worked. It still shocks me that the WWE continues to try and make Reigns the top babyface of the company, and it's rumored that Reigns will face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. If that's true then this match could go either way in Chicago. As you can tell Reigns is the big favorite in this singles match, and, honestly, I don't think they will give Mahal any chance on winning this match. If he does then what would be the point? This feud ends in Chicago at MITB and puts Reigns back to the Universal Championship picture.

Prediction: Roman Reigns -800

WWE RAW Intercontinental Championship

Seth Rollins -400

Elias +260
The past year Elias has done excellent mic work, and his skills in the ring are outstanding. One day he will hold gold, but not in Chicago. Rollins has had some great weekly matches, especially with Finn Balor, and I see Rollins holding the Intercontinental belt for a while. I'm a little shocked that this money line is not higher, so if I was a going to lay a heavy favorite this is the match I would. Elias goes down in the Windy City, but again he will have another great ring performance on a big pay-per-view.
Prediction: Seth Rollins -400

WWE RAW Women's Championship

Ronda Rousey -400

Nia Jax +260

Why is Ronda Rousey getting a title shot so soon and against Nia Jax? To me this feud has no fire behind it, and I'm actually not even excited for this women's championship match. Rousey still needs help with her mic work and overall wrestling talent in the ring, and if they make her the champ in Chicago I think this will be bad for business. That said, we are talking about the WWE that is bringing back the XFL, so yes Ronda 'Rowdy' Rousey will be the new RAW Women's Champion. If this is true look for a feud with maybe just maybe Natalya (Yes - I said it!)

Prediction: Ronda Rousey -400

WWE Smackdown Men's Championship

AJ Styles -110

Shinsuke Nakamura -130

Most WWE media experts have all agreed that this feud has pretty much run its course, and in Chicago at MITB this feud ends. I believe and the oddsmakers believe that it's a coin toss. Maybe a coin toss will go down in the back before they enter the ring. My view with Shinsuke Nakamura is that if the WWE wanted him to become the Smackdown Champion that they would have given him the belt moons ago, so in Chicago I see Nakamura coming up short and losing to the 'Phenomenal One' again. Styles will retain the belt, and look for him to feud with Samoa Joe. That match at SummerSlam will be fun to watch and of course to put down a couple bucks.

Prediction: AJ Styles -110

WWE Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Braun Stroman (RAW) +275

The Miz (SDL) +165

Money In The Bank Odds 2018 Vegas

Samoa Joe (SDL) +450

Finn Balor (RAW) +600

Bobby Roode (RAW) 25-1

Kevin Owens (RAW) +700

Rusev (SDL) +700

New Day Entry (SDL) 14-1

The Men's MITB match will be the best match on the card, and no matter who wins this match I see a Smackdown wrestler coming out on top. The public will bet Stroman or The Miz, but I'm thinking outside the box and I believe either Samoa Joe +450 or Rusev +700. Up above I mentioned that Samoa Joe could be up for a feud with AJ Styles, and how better will that feud be if Joe had the MITB briefcase during that feud. For the RAW side of things, keep an eye out on Finn Balor odds. If that number continues to move up then I will throw some coin on Balor, because him feuding with maybe Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns could be fun to watch.

Prediction: Samoa Joe +450

WWE Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Alexia Bliss (RAW) +300

Odds

The Women's MITB match has me scratching my head as I believe not one, not two but three ladies could come out on top for this match. I talked to Kelsi Schreiber from Two Faced Wrestling Talk, and she said, 'Keep an eye out for Becky Lynch, who in my eyes, is a very good dark horse to steal the win in Chicago.' I totally agree with this, and getting Becky Lynch +750 looks too good to be true. Schreiber also said, 'If Charlotte wins then we could see her using the MITB contract much quicker than normal.' I believe if Charlotte does win the MITB match that she uses it quickly on Carmella and she gets her revenge after losing the belt to Carmella. Keep an eye out on Alexia Bliss +300 and Ember Moon +800, and if Bliss wins I see her role with the MITB briefcase being flawless as she does outstanding mic work.

Prediction: Would love to see Natalya win and stab Rousey in the back, but I'm agreeing with Kelsi Schreiber. Give me Becky Lynch +750
